MISSION
- Organizing research-based academic activities in the field of aquaculture with wetland characteristics based on sustainable scientific and technological advances to develop aquaculture from an environmental perspective;
- Carry out and develop research on aquaculture technology, particularly in wetlands;
- Carry out research-based community service activities to solve aquaculture problems in wetlands;
- Establish cooperation with related departments or study programs, local governments, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and other institutions at both the national and international levels that are oriented towards management and utilization of fisheries resources to develop human resource skills.
GOALS OF THE AQUACULTURE STUDY PROGRAM
- Produce excellent graduates who are professional, high quality, competent, and highly competitive in aquaculture;
- Generate science, technology, and innovation to understand and solve aquaculture problems in wetlands, especially in swamps, and can be published scientifically;
- Become a referral in the development, interpretation of science, technology, and information on aquaculture, particularly in the wetlands area;
- Increasing the active role in assisting the government and the community in managing aquatic resources in wetlands.
