Sriwijaya University (Unsri) and the Ukrainian Ambassador to Indonesia (Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Indonesia) agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding regarding education, research, community service and resource development. The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Chancellor of Unsri, Prof. Dr. Taufiq Marwa, S.E., M.Sc. represented by Vice Chancellor I for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rujito Agus Suwignyo, M.Agr. and Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Vasyl Hamianin at FH Tower Fl. 8 Elements of Bukit Besar Palembang, Tuesday (12/11/2024). Sriwijaya University and the Ukrainian Ambassador to Indonesia strengthen innovative collaboration in the mutually agreed fields of teaching, learning and research through various academic activities and programs such as cultural exchanges, academic exchanges, joint research and other scientific activities. After signing the MoU, the event continued with a public lecture by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Vasyl Hamianin. The public lecture with the theme "Resilience and the Future of Ukraine: Reflecting on 1000 Days of Resistance and Global Solidarity" was attended by hundreds of students from the Unsri Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP). This activity was also attended by the Dean and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, the Dean and Deputy Dean of FISIP, the Head of the UPT Library, and lecturers within FISIP Unsri. (Ara_PR)
