UNSRI Inaugurates 142 New Officials. Rector: Let's work together to build Unsri
Sriwijaya University (UNSRI) inaugurated a number of new officials in the Rector and Faculty. The inauguration was held in the Hall of the Faculty of Economics Unsri, Indralaya Campus, Tuesday (2/9/2025).
In this inauguration, the Rector of Unsri, Prof. Dr. Taufiq Marwa, S.E., M.Sc., inaugurated a number of officials, ranging from the ranks of the Vice Chancellor, University Secretary, Dean, Postgraduate Director, Deputy Dean, Director of the Directorate, Chair of the Institution to the Head of Sub Units in various faculties and work units. The total number of officials appointed reached 142 people.
Some of the main officials who were appointed include: Dr. Drs. Tertiarto Wahyudi, Mafis. as Chair of the Internal Supervisory Unit. Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Rujito Agus Suwignyo, M.Agr. As Vice Chancellor for Academic, Student Affairs, and Quality Assurance. Prof. Dr. Bernadette Robiani, M.Sc. As Deputy Chancellor for Finance, Resources, Procurement, and Logistics. Prof. Dr. Dr. Radiyati Umi Partan, Sp.Pd., M.Kes. As Vice Chancellor for Research, Community Service, Innovation, Downstream, and Information Technology. Prof. Dr. Ir. Joni Arliansyah, M.T. As Vice Chancellor for Planning and Cooperation. Prof. Dr. Alfitri, M.Sc. as the University Secretary. Dr. Ardiyan Saptawan, M.Sc. As Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, and Prof. Benyamin Lakitan, Ph.D. as Director of Postgraduate School.
In his remarks, the Chancellor expressed his gratitude to the officials who had completed their duties, as well as inviting new officials to work together in building Unsri. "I thank some of the officials who have completed their duties and most of them are actually re -establishing officials who have been there.
Then to the newly inaugurated ladies and gentlemen, we also invite us together to work together to both advance Sriwijaya University. It is not as easy as turning hands for us to bring the university forward quickly, so I have the principle that it cannot be individual, it cannot be an individual, it cannot be just the chancellor to advance this great Sriwijaya University. We must be together, we have their own potential. Has each other's strengths, and there is nothing perfect human nature. Now lacking, imperfections, let us cooperate so that it is easier for existing potentials to be optimally utilized for the progress of Sriwijaya University, "said the Rector.
The Chancellor emphasizes the importance of synergy in preparing work programs and budgets. He asked all the newly inaugurated ranks to immediately formulate a work plan in accordance with the RPJM, RPJP, and six Unsri priority programs, so that it could be submitted to the Wali Amanat Assembly on the Three Sunday, 2025.
In addition, the Chancellor also conveyed several positions in certain faculties and units, including in the Faculty of Medicine and several UPTs, will still be inaugurated in the near future. (Ara_humas)
